KSFRB Skyrim Female Replacement Bodies (Beta 2)

It's a recursive acronym, fuck yeah!

Description

Now that the construction set is out, we can do some seriously serious stuff as far as modding goes.

This project is meant to provide a sane, pluggable replacement female body model for Skyrim. While still providing some eye candy and without sacrificing frame rate.

Another objective is to provide an easy to mod base mesh for armourers like meself.

Its still a bit messy for now. we're still in the testing phase.

Installation

Download the KSFRB archive and extract to your Skyrim Data folder.

Then you need to choose which "heavy" _1 nif you want to use.

In the folder /Data/meshes/_k-mod/KSFRB, you should find 2 folders.

• default
  • This is a mesh meant for use with armour,clothes and underwear. the boobs defy gravity a bit more, as they would if supported by a bra or if the character was super fit. As you would expect of someone surviving the harsh environment of Skyrim.
• plussize
  • Unsupported large breast hand lower and wider. This body is meant for nude bodies.

The _0 mesh has smaller breasts. and those usually don't really change shape whether supported or not.

if you have no idea what _0 and _1 meshes are, just copy the "femalebody_1.nif" of your choice 1 directory up.

I may scrap the idea of separate _1 meshes in favour of a a single mesh for the sake of simplicity.

Activate the plugin

Don't forget to Activate the KSFRM.esp plugin in the Skyrim launcher.

Current Issues with beta 2

• I am not a texture artist. The textures I cobbled up for this demo are far from ideal. It uses default game textures for now, you can replace them with any texture compatible with the vanilla bodies. The nipple and pubic hair textures are just.. awful. Once we get proper well made textures to match the body, we'll be in business.
• Argonians
  • There seems to be some edge clipping at the wrists for Argonian female. This seems to be an issue with the default model too. Unless it's an issue with my copy of Skyrim.
  • I could be wrong about this but Argonian females do not have boobies, since they are reptiles and not mammals. With the CK, we can customise each race to use different models and textures so Argonians could be made lore friendly. However, that would mean specially made armour for a single race, which might be just too much work.

To Do, possibly

• textures, that's somebody else's problem. I'm no good at that.
• redo boobs in concentric circles from the nipple instead of squares. Although that may break compatibility with vanilla textures.
